Description
A reduction of food waste from the retail sector can be boosted by the ATTRACT technology Ahead built in a 24h/7 accessible food cabinet with individual cooling units comparable to a parcel station. With the help of the SWAP, the temperature of each unit can be controlled individually as required by the stored food. Single units are populated with unsold food from different stores. The individual refrigerated compartments can be accessed by people who want to get/obtain the food. This also opens the door for food upgrading through restaurants. They can resell meals through heated units of the same cabinet.
Team Workerbees consists of three students from inno.space and three from HAMK-Design factory.
