Blindness severely impacts the quality of life of over 39 million worldwide, most of whom suffer from preventable or reversible conditions. Access to early diagnosis is key to preventing or treating these conditions, and 90% of the world’s blind live in developing countries where such access is difficult or impossible due to a lack of resources and infrastructure. The goal of the i2i Solutions PROVISION Scanner is to implement a fast, accurate, and portable diagnostic system in these communities. The combination of portability, along with advanced yet cost-effective imaging and neural network technologies, makes for an impactful solution to treating and restoring eyesight.
