Description

Endometrial cancer is the sixth most common cancer affecting women globally. There were approximately 382,000 new diagnoses and 89,900 deaths from the disease in 2018. Most women had caught it early on because of the postmenopausal bleeding (PMB) symptom. However, 20% of women had more advanced complications, for whom 5-year survival rates are just 15%. New strategies to facilitate early diagnosis are urgently needed.

Hysplant is a project that aims to improve reproductive health using hyperspectral imaging technology. The previous phase of the Hysplant project has been successfully running commercially to apply the technology for monitoring embryo health. Our team is looking into the market to see if this technology can also be applied to uterus cancer early detection.
