Description
The awareness of the public towards air quality has risen during the last decade. As eco-friendly and health-cautious mentalities are rising and technologies turn towards more and more data, the need to collect reliable and exhaustive information on air quality has become more and more urgent. Cities have implemented costly static sensors in multiple locations.
The SNIFFIRDRONE project uses cutting-edge laser and LED technologies to analyze gases and offers 3D mobility to empower better mapping of areas. The combination of sensors on buses and drones would offer early detection of gas leaks, air quality data for analysis and, powered by machine learning algorithms, bad odour detection for rapid intervention and better life quality for citizens.
