Description
Auriel improves pedestrian safety at intersections in urban settings while reducing human error and enhancing decision-making. Auriel consists of a vehicle-to-network (V2N), vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I), and vehicle-to-pedestrian (V2P) system that uses object-based sensor data to provide traffic alerts and navigational directions in real-time. Auriel alerts pedestrians through its LED screens and SoundBeam audio technology to be aware of potential safety hazards, leading them to be situationally aware of what is happening around them. As Auriel’s system develops into a city-wide network in the future, it will supersede the current traffic systems by detecting pedestrians and alerting drivers about their movements.
