Every painting contains a set of stories, and some of them are invisible to our eyes. Thanks to H-Cube, we can analyze different artworks. The device is an innovative camera composed of many small sensors sensitive to terahertz (THz) radiation, which are special electromagnetic waves positioned in the spectrum between microwaves and infrared. With the analysis performed and the post-production process, we are able to reconstruct a hyperspectral image that reveals the deepest layers of the work. Our solution is HCB, a service that can offer museums and private collectors a detailed analysis of their art pieces. HCB integrates the innovative H-Cube within an ecosystem of existing technologies, such as infrared and ultraviolet. Our service aims to identify the hidden layers of a painting, reconstruct the history of a masterpiece, and verify the authenticity of a work.
