Description
Asthma attacks are still not predicted because they depend on a variety of factors. There is no collaborative platform to help researchers build an advanced machine learning model using multiple datasets, from biosignals and environmental factors. We created an open data platform to advance asthma predictability research and we advocate the creation of an EU multicenter study to collect patient-level data across different geographies and hospitals. By advancing research, the final goal is to build a wearable that, based on environmental and patient information, can predict the next asthma crisis and provide actionable coping mechanisms to avoid them.
